Hi, I’m so happy to have found this forum!

I’m starting my first-ever camper van conversion with a Ford Transit medium wheelbase. The person I bought it from had done some work already. Once I’d stripped off the grey fabric from the walls, I found what looks like plywood covered in fibreglass. I have two questions:

    1. Should I remove this? (I think I should because there’s no insulation behind it, it’s quite thick and therefore wasting valuable space, and I’m concerned about laying electrical cables on top of it)
    2. If I should remove it, how do I do it? It’s stuck firm and appears to be attached to the floor as well.

I’ve attached some photos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you! Natasha
